"Content Picnic" is an experiential media education program designed to allow youth to experience the entire process of video content production firsthand. The program focuses on hands-on activities from planning, filming, and editing to screening, aiming to foster creativity and career exploration among youth from media-marginalized groups such as those living in remote areas and multicultural families.
The program will be held four times in total: twice as a one-night, two-day session, and twice as a two-night, three-day session. The one-night, two-day sessions will take place at the Content School of the Broadcasting Content Promotion Foundation, while the two-night, three-day sessions will be conducted near the participants' places of residence, with instructors visiting them. Each session will involve 20 participants, totaling 80 youth. The curriculum includes basic theory such as media literacy, copyright, and online ethics, as well as practical video production exercises. At the completion ceremony, participants will screen the content they have created themselves.
This year, ShoppingNT donated 30 million won to the Broadcasting Content Promotion Foundation to support the operation of the program.
