During the two-day, one-night workshop, participants relieved mental and physical fatigue through meditation and walks in nature. They also learned practical communication skills that can be applied in the workplace through a special lecture on communication. The workshop provided an opportunity for participants to share their concerns, empathize with each other, and strengthen emotional support and camaraderie.
One participant shared, "I have always been in the position of planning and running programs, but this time, I was able to participate entirely for myself, which was a new and meaningful experience. I will share the positive energy I received here with the people I serve when I return to the field."
Mayor Bang Sehwan said, "I hope this healing workshop provided rest and comfort to social welfare workers who have quietly dedicated themselves on the front lines. We will continue to actively promote various support policies so that social welfare workers can work more enjoyably and with greater fulfillment."
