Korea Investment & Securities Donates 100 Million Won Worth of Snacks to Nine Child Welfare Facilities
Korea Investment & Securities announced on June 26 that it has donated snacks worth approximately 100 million won to nine child welfare facilities.
This donation was made both to support the healthy growth of children from marginalized groups and to contribute to job creation for people with developmental disabilities.
The snacks consist of cookie and granola sets made directly by individuals with developmental disabilities at Bravo Beaver, a standard workplace for people with disabilities. The sets will be delivered to nine child welfare facilities nationwide through the international relief and development NGO World Vision.
Kim Sunghwan, CEO of Korea Investment & Securities, said, "Although it is a small gift, I hope it will help the children feel the warmth of society," and added, "We will continue to provide various forms of support so that children can grow up healthy in better environments and freely pursue their dreams."
