Jungnang District Strengthens AI Digital Literacy Education for Residents
Providing Practical Digital Technology Education for Everyday Life
Jungnang District in Seoul is actively conducting artificial intelligence (AI)-based digital literacy education to respond to the rapidly changing digital environment and to strengthen residents' digital capabilities.
These programs are held at the Residents' Digital Literacy Education Center, Jungnang Myeonmok and Yangwon Media Centers, and the Bang Jeonghwan Education Support Center. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, from practical uses of AI in daily life to content creation, marketing, and hands-on educational experiences.
At the Residents' Digital Literacy Education Center, courses are designed around practical topics such as how to effectively ask questions to AI, drawing with image generation tools, and creating presentations using AI. These classes help residents easily understand and utilize AI technologies in their everyday lives.
At the Jungnang Myeonmok and Yangwon Media Centers, AI-related courses focus on developing practical video production skills, including automated video editing, voice synthesis, and content planning. Hands-on lectures using various AI tools such as ChatGPT for becoming a YouTuber, Suno AI, Midjourney, and Claude have received enthusiastic responses from residents interested in digital content creation.
The Bang Jeonghwan Education Support Center offers experience-based programs for youth, such as the AI Drawing Exploration Team and Generative AI Content Creation. Through these activities, students can directly experience how AI technology is applied in fields such as art, science, and education, while also developing creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
