Changwon Facilities Corporation Holds First Half-Year Water Quality Management Council Meeting
Discussion on Measures for Improving Swimming Pool Water Quality and Safety Management
On June 25, the Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam held the "2025 First Half Year Water Quality Management Council" in the meeting room on the second floor of the corporation's building to create a safe and pleasant swimming pool environment.
The corporation's "Water Quality Management Council" has been operated since 2023 as a council to share trends in swimming pool water quality and the occurrence of larvae, and to discuss response measures.
The council consists of a total of eight members, including Professor Baek Dohyun of Changwon University as chairperson, experts in the field of water quality management, related organizations, representatives of civic groups and pool users, and relevant public officials.
At this council meeting, participants discussed reports on improvements to the water quality management manual, as well as the progress and supplementary measures for water quality management, responses in the event of larval occurrence, and safety management measures.
Baek Dohyun, chairperson of the Water Quality Management Council, stated, "We will do our utmost to ensure a thorough swimming pool water quality management system and provide support for safety management so that citizens can use the swimming pool in an even safer environment."
