Namyangju City Holds Q2 Businesspeople's Meeting
Aiming for Mutual Growth and a Future-Oriented Advanced Industrial City
Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwangdeok) announced on the 25th that it held the "2025 Q2 Sincere Communication Regular Meeting with Businesspeople" at the city hall Yeoyudang on the 24th.

The meeting was presided over by Mayor Joo Gwangdeok and attended by more than 30 participants, including Lee Honggyun, chairman of the Gyeonggi Eastern Chamber of Commerce and Industry, businesspeople, and related officials.
Namyangju City shared with businesspeople its achievements in attracting "AI Plus Advanced Industries," which will be the core of innovative urban growth and the leap toward a future-oriented self-sufficient city through the improvement of the industrial ecosystem, as well as future directions.
In addition, the city explained its active administrative efforts, such as expanding the range of industries eligible to move into knowledge industry centers and the Namyangju City Pro-Mokmingwan system.
The city also took time to communicate with businesspeople and collect their opinions. It plans to make every effort to actively review and address the suggestions raised, manage them systematically, and share results promptly.
Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stated, "The rapidly changing economic environment and the development of various technologies will become both challenges and opportunities for further growth of the local community," adding, "Starting from this year, which marks the first year of a major transformation in the industrial ecosystem, we are focusing our administrative capacity on improving the overall structure of the industry, and we will continue to do our utmost to ensure that Namyangju can make a definite leap forward as a future-oriented self-sufficient city."
Meanwhile, the city plans to promote practical financial support by expanding loan support criteria for young entrepreneurs and startups, and diversifying loan periods and interest support rates to attract AI Plus advanced convergence industry companies to the Wangsuk Urban High-Tech Industrial Complex.
