BNK Kyongnam Bank Signs "31-Day Blood Donation Sharing Love Campaign Agreement"
Joining Forces to Promote a Culture of Blood Donation
BNK Kyongnam Bank announced on the 25th that it has signed the "31-Day Blood Donation Sharing Love Campaign Agreement" and will contribute to promoting a culture of blood donation.
The signing ceremony for the 31-Day Blood Donation Sharing Love Campaign was attended by Kim Taehan, President of BNK Kyongnam Bank; Lee Jongbung, Chairman of Gyeongnam Ilbo; Lee Jeongwoo, Director of the Gyeongnam Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross; and Lee Sangyeon, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Regional Development Council.
Under the agreement, the participating organizations will actively cooperate to contribute to revitalizing the blood donation culture in the Gyeongnam region and building a social contribution community through strengthened collaboration with the local community.
BNK Kyongnam Bank, which co-hosted and co-organized the event, will support the event expenses and make efforts to encourage blood donation participation and promotion to ensure the success of the 31-Day Blood Donation Sharing Love Campaign.
The 31-Day Blood Donation Sharing Love Campaign, under the theme "Blood Donation, Practicing Warm Love through Sharing Life," will be held from July 14 to August 13.
During the campaign period, an atmosphere will be created to encourage more than 10,000 residents of Gyeongnam, including organizations and individuals, to participate in blood donation. After the campaign ends, the following will be conducted: awards for outstanding group blood donations, a drawing for blood donors aged 30 and over, and a drawing for first-time and repeat blood donors.
In addition, during the campaign period, all blood donors will receive a special commemorative gift in addition to the basic commemorative gift.
Kim Taehan, President of BNK Kyongnam Bank, stated, "I believe this agreement is a promise that the local community will unite to protect the value of life. I hope that the 31-Day Blood Donation Sharing Love Campaign will serve as a catalyst, encouraging many local residents to participate in blood donation and helping to widely spread the culture of blood donation."
Last year, a total of 12,345 residents of Gyeongnam, including organizations and individuals, participated in the 31-Day Blood Donation Sharing Love Campaign.
Meanwhile, since 2020, BNK Kyongnam Bank has been co-hosting and co-organizing the 31-Day Blood Donation Sharing Love Campaign to encourage blood donation.
