On this day, the district, together with about 30 members of the Women's Safety Patrol, a citizen participation group, carried out various activities: promoting awareness to eradicate illegal filming, distributing promotional materials such as detection cards and emergency kits, and inspecting public restrooms for illegal camera installations and the operational status of emergency bells.
Previously, since March, the district has provided safety monitoring education and field training for the Women's Safety Patrol, and has been conducting monthly inspections of 59 public restrooms in the district to detect illegal filming cameras and check the operational status of emergency bells.
Kang Misook, head of the Gender and Child Welfare Division, stated, "Together with the Women's Safety Patrol, we will strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors to prevent digital sex crimes and create a safe urban environment with heightened gender sensitivity."
