More than 200 experts from industry, academia, research institutes, and government participated in the forum.


The theme of this forum was 'AI-based Smart Manufacturing and a Sustainable Future.' The event was co-hosted by UNIST, the Korea Industrial Technology Association (KOITA), the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, LS Electric, LG AI Research, and SK Telecom, and was supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the AI Future Forum of the Citizens' Coalition for Realizing a Right Science and Technology Society.

Professor Yang explained, "We are achieving various results such as AI-based process optimization, quality prediction, and energy efficiency through joint research with manufacturing companies in the southeastern region."
