After selecting six businesses, the team plans to visit the sites between August and November to provide effective technical support. This will include checking the proper operation of emission and prevention facilities, analyzing facility operation status and suggesting improvements, as well as listening to and advising on difficulties related to environmental management.
In particular, by covering the costs required for pollution testing, the project is expected to alleviate the financial burden on small and medium-sized businesses and promote tangible improvements. This approach is anticipated to receive positive feedback from companies on the ground.
Koo Chungon, head of the authority, stated, "We aim to provide practical assistance by visiting sites directly, especially for businesses struggling with environmental management." He added, "We hope that this technical support will serve as an opportunity to encourage voluntary improvements by companies and contribute to creating a safe and clean industrial environment."
