Hecto Data Targets E-commerce Sellers with Integrated Shopping Mall Management Solution "SELLPICK"
Hecto Data, a data-specialized company, announced on June 25 that it has completed the acquisition of Shinsegae I&C's integrated shopping mall management solution, "SELLPICK," and will officially launch its "Seller Revenue Growth Platform" strategy targeting e-commerce sellers.
The "integrated shopping mall management solution" is an operational and management service for e-commerce sellers. SELLPICK supports sellers by providing integrated management of products, orders, and deliveries; integration with offline stores; fulfillment automation; and customer service (CS) management features. SELLPICK contributes to improving sellers' operational efficiency and productivity through fulfillment-based automation services enabled by system integration with logistics specialists such as PASTO and Colosseum.
Hecto Data plans to differentiate SELLPICK from other services that focus solely on integrated operational functions by advancing it as a "seller-customized solution" that drives tangible revenue growth and performance for sellers. To this end, the company will incorporate data analytics technology and application programming interface (API) capabilities into SELLPICK, and will sequentially introduce data-driven marketing features such as AI-based content optimization analysis, sales prediction algorithms, advertising efficiency reports, and automated matching between sellers and product reviewers.
Hecto Data aims to implement its long-term strategy of building a data-driven commerce growth platform through SELLPICK. As of 2024, the total transaction volume of online shopping in Korea reached a record high of 242.0897 trillion won, an increase of 661.1 billion won compared to the previous year. With intensified competition due to market growth, the need for personalized product recommendations and marketing?such as AI-based personalization and curation?has become even more important. Additionally, as more sellers operate across multiple channels using various platforms, the demand for advanced solutions continues to grow.
A Hecto Data representative stated, "SELLPICK will evolve into a platform that designs seller growth through data," and added, "We will go beyond being a simple operational tool to become a strategic partner that maximizes seller profits, thereby further strengthening our position in the commerce market."
