Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency to Train AI Citizen Instructors... Applications Open Until June 30
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is launching a program to train AI Citizen Instructors.
On June 25, the agency announced that it is accepting applications for those interested in participating in the "I Am an Instructor" AI Citizen Instructor Training Project until June 30.
The AI Citizen Instructor Training Project is a hands-on program designed to help participants develop the skills necessary to produce their own lecture videos and become instructors. The curriculum focuses on practical training, including the latest AI technology trends, the use of generative AI, and the creation of lecture content.
The training consists of a total of 80 hours, including 50 hours of specialized AI education and 30 hours of teaching methodology lectures. It will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining both online and offline sessions. The training is completely free of charge.
Participants will complete a comprehensive curriculum that integrates theory and practice, covering topics such as understanding AI concepts, utilizing open-source AI tools, leveraging GPU cloud services, interactive teaching methods, and automating learner assessment and feedback using AI.
Upon completion of the training, participants will undergo an interview evaluation. Those selected as final "AI Citizen Instructors" will receive an official certificate of appointment from the Governor of Gyeonggi-do. The selected instructors will have the opportunity to launch a new career in AI education by creating their own lecture content and participating in pilot lectures.
