This campaign focused on encouraging the proper use of train tickets and preventing fare evasion. In particular, it raised awareness by clearly explaining various types of fare evasion, such as boarding without a ticket and using a ticket issued under another person's name, as well as the criteria for imposing surcharges in these cases.
Additionally, to enhance customer convenience, the campaign actively promoted how to purchase standing and unreserved seat tickets for regular trains through the KORAIL Talk app, helping passengers use trains more easily.
In connection with the campaign, a special crackdown on fare evasion was also carried out. The crackdown targeted regular trains on the Jeolla Line (Iksan~Yeosu Expo) and the Gyeongjeon Line (Gwangju Songjeong~Suncheon~Masan), with a particular focus on trains operating during commuting hours and on unmanned station sections where no station staff are present. During these inspections, the legitimacy of tickets was checked and campaign activities were conducted simultaneously.
Kim Jintae, head of KORAIL Jeonnam Headquarters, stated, "We will continue our efforts to establish a fair and proper railway usage culture through ongoing promotional activities."
