Chungnam Provincial Council Appoints Trot Prodigy Go Ain as Promotional Ambassador

View original imageOn June 24, the Chungnam Provincial Council announced that it had newly appointed Go Ain, known as a "trot prodigy" representing Chungnam, as a promotional ambassador to strengthen the promotion of its legislative activities.
The council held the ambassador appointment ceremony that day in the council reception room, attended by Chairman Hong Seonghyun, Education Committee Chairman Lee Sanggeun (Hongseong 1, People Power Party), Councilor Ji Mingyu (Asan 6, Independent), and senior officials from the council’s secretariat.
Go Ain began gaining recognition by winning the grand prize at the 1st Mungyeong Trot Song Festival in 2023, and has since received awards at various song festivals. She also appeared on several television programs, including TV Chosun’s "Miss Trot 3" in 2023 and KBS’s "Morning Yard Trot Prodigy Idol Contest" in 2024.
Go Ain will serve as a promotional ambassador until June 2027, working to strengthen communication between the provincial residents and the council, and to raise the council’s profile.
Hong Seonghyun, chairman of the Chungnam Provincial Council, said, "We are delighted to welcome Go Ain, a rising trot prodigy from our region, as our council’s promotional ambassador," and added, "As she has become our ambassador, we look forward to her active role in promoting the Chungnam Provincial Council."
Meanwhile, the Chungnam Provincial Council’s current promotional ambassadors include poet Na Taejoo, actor Min Kyungjin, painter Park Jingyun, singer Yoo Jina, gugak prodigy student Lee Roha, and actor Jung Junho.
