Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on June 24 that it has decided to build the Sanghyeon 3-dong Administrative Welfare Center as part of a multi-purpose complex within the Gwanggyo Sports Center in Suji-gu. As a result, the Gwanggyo Sports Center will be developed as a complex building that combines administrative services and community sports facilities.

View original imageThe Gwanggyo Sports Center is a multi-purpose sports facility that the city is planning to construct on a 6,155-square-meter site at 460-4 Sanghyeon-dong, Suji-gu, within Gwanggyo New Town. The center will be built with two basement levels and five above-ground floors, and is scheduled for completion in December 2029.
Previously, on June 18, the city held a resident briefing session in the meeting room of the Sanghyeon 3-dong Administrative Welfare Center to select the site for the new complex, and explained that the decision was made at that time.
