This agreement marked the first time both private and public sectors have collaborated to encourage the use of reusable cups through a customized initiative at Everland.
As a result, starting from the 25th, Everland will provide beverages sold for takeout in reusable cups. This initiative will be gradually expanded not only to directly operated stores but also to tenant stores. Caribbean Bay will implement the same policy beginning July 1.
To promote the use of reusable cups, the collection of used cups is essential. To facilitate this, Everland plans to install return bins at around 60 key locations, including food and beverage outlets, near attractions, and at entrances and exits, so that visitors can easily return their used cups.
Everland decided to actively introduce reusable cups to encourage customers to participate in efforts to minimize waste through resource circulation and to raise awareness about environmental issues.
