Seongbuk-gu to Issue Additional 10 Billion Won in Seongbuk Sarang Gift Certificates... 10% Discount
To Be Issued at 10 a.m. on July 1
Seongbuk-gu in Seoul will issue an additional 10 billion won worth of 'Seongbuk Sarang Gift Certificates' at 10 a.m. on July 1. This additional issuance is being carried out to revitalize the local economy, following the complete sell-out on June 18 of the 40 billion won worth of Seongbuk Sarang Gift Certificates that were issued in January this year for the Lunar New Year holiday.
The Seongbuk Sarang Gift Certificates, which offered a total 10% discount benefit through a 5% discount issuance and a 5% payback event, received a strong response from residents and small business owners. The 5% payback event, which has been in place since January, will also continue to be available at all times until the budget is exhausted.
Available for purchase and use through the Seoul Pay+ app, the Seongbuk Sarang Gift Certificates can be purchased up to a maximum of 500,000 won per person per month, with a holding limit of 1.5 million won. They can be used at affiliated merchants within Seongbuk-gu, directly contributing to the promotion of local consumption.
