Fostering the Startup Ecosystem Through Investment and IR Opportunities
On June 24, Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Kibo) announced that it held the "16th Kibo Venture Camp Integrated Demo Day" at Tipstown in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The event was organized to provide investment opportunities and practical IR experience for startups discovered and nurtured through the Kibo Venture Camp program.
The Kibo Venture Camp is a program that discovers and fosters innovative startups within three years of their founding, in line with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' "Domestic Startup Ecosystem Revitalization Policy." Based on its accumulated experience in supporting technology startups, Kibo has been focusing on helping innovative startups grow into star venture companies by collaborating with top-tier private accelerators in Korea, such as CNT Tech, Darae Strategic Commercialization Center, Series Ventures, Zephyrus Lab, and Taven Angel Partners.
The demo day was attended by 75 innovative startups selected for the 16th Kibo Venture Camp, as well as various investment stakeholders including accelerators and venture capitalists, creating a lively atmosphere. In particular, 10 outstanding startups expanded their investment opportunities by conducting individual IR pitching sessions and company promotions. A highlight video of the event will later be available on Kibo's official YouTube channel.
