Attracting New Groups of Tourists Through Hands-On Traditional Korean Medicine Experiences
Sancheong County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on the 24th that it had conducted a fam tour for the training team from the Uzbek National Children's Hospital, who are participating in a program to strengthen their hospital management capabilities.
This event was organized to promote Donguibogam Village, a major tourist attraction in Sancheong, to foreign medical professionals and to attract new groups of tourists through hands-on experiences with traditional Korean medicine.

View original imageThe fam tour was held for 20 members of the Uzbek National Children's Hospital training team, who are visiting Korea for a KOICA global training program hosted by Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital. During the tour, the group explored Donguibogam Village and participated in a variety of programs, including Gongjindan experience, royal moxibustion therapy, and aromatherapy sessions.
County Governor Lee Seunghwa stated, "We will further promote the charm of Sancheong tourism by attracting domestic and international tourists during the 2025 Visit Sancheong Year," and added, "We will continue to carry out various marketing activities, such as on-site tourism promotions, to introduce our outstanding tourism resources to more people."
