On June 20, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Wolseong Headquarters visited the wild raspberry growers' association in Hoam-ri, Munmu Daewang-myeon, Gyeongju, to promote the consumption of local specialty products.

View original imageAlthough wild raspberries grown by about 30 growers' associations in Munmu Daewang-myeon showed promising yields this year, farmers are facing difficulties with harvesting and sales due to the sudden onset of the rainy season.
In response, Wolseong Headquarters held an emergency consultation with Donggyeongju Nonghyup and the wild raspberry growers' association, and decided to purchase 1,000 boxes of wild raspberries, which will be distributed to 101 senior centers in the Donggyeongju area.
Jung Wonho, head of Wolseong Headquarters, said, "This support for wild raspberry purchases is especially meaningful because it can provide practical help to local farmers and the health of local seniors," adding, "We will continue to carry out various activities to promote the consumption of local specialty products and increase farmers' income."
