According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will gradually come under the influence of a low-pressure system developing along a stationary front. Due to this influence, 20 to 60 millimeters of rain is forecast for Gwangju and Jeollanam-do from early morning until the day after tomorrow.
The morning low temperature is expected to range from 19 to 21 degrees Celsius, while the daytime high will be between 23 and 27 degrees Celsius. Waves in the seas off the west and south coasts are expected to reach up to 1 meter, and the concentration of ultrafine dust is expected to remain at a 'moderate' level.
An official from the Meteorological Administration advised, "From today until the day after tomorrow, there may be places in the southern parts of the West Sea and South Sea where gusty winds, thunder, and lightning occur. Please pay attention to maritime safety accidents."
