Hwaseong City Invites Citizens to Help Solve Urban Issues in the Byeongjeom Station Area
Recruitment of Participants for the 'Byeongjeom Urban Regeneration New Deal Smart Living Lab'
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on June 23 that it is recruiting members for the Citizen Participation Group for the 'Byeongjeom Urban Regeneration New Deal Smart Living Lab' as part of its urban regeneration New Deal project.
This project will be operated by having citizens directly identify local issues related to transportation, environment, housing, and safety in the Byeongjeom Station urban regeneration activation area, and seek solutions using information and communication technology (ICT).
The Citizen Participation Group will be active from next month until December of next year. Participants will take part in basic training, inspection of existing smart services, discovery of new services, and evaluation of implemented services, and will be able to directly propose solutions to urban problems.
Up to 30 people will be recruited, and any citizen who lives or works in the Byeongjeom area is eligible to participate. Those interested can apply online via QR code or submit an application form by email.
