Special Prosecutor Myunghyun Lee, who is investigating allegations of obstruction in the case of a fallen Marine, has announced that former President Yoon Suk-yeol will be summoned for questioning only after all other investigations have been completed.
On the morning of June 22, Special Prosecutor Lee told reporters on his way to work, "Because he is a former president, he will be summoned last, after all other investigations have been completed." He added, "Of course, the summons must take place," and emphasized, "The principle of investigation is face-to-face questioning; written or remote investigations are not the standard procedure."
