Kakao Pay Donates 100 Million Won to Support Safety Equipment for Wildfire Prevention and Suppression Team

Kakao Pay announced on June 20 that it will donate 100 million won as a safety equipment support fund for the wildfire prevention and suppression team to the nonprofit foundation Baboeui Nanum.

View original imageOn May 4, in recognition of International Firefighters' Day, Kakao Pay held a support campaign for the wildfire prevention and suppression team that played a key role at major wildfire sites in the Yeongnam region.
Kakao Pay reported that, by combining citizen donations collected through the campaign held from April 30 to June 16 with its own contributions, a total support fund of approximately 110 million won was raised.
The fund will be delivered to the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Wildfire Prevention Center through Baboeui Nanum.
