Israeli Ambassador to France: "Trump Ordered Military to Complete Preparations for Iran Strike"
"Trump Will Make a Decision Soon"
On June 19 (local time), the Israeli Ambassador to France stated, "The United States is ready to strike Iran immediately."
Ambassador Joshua Zarka appeared on France's BFM TV that day and claimed, "Fighter jets are deployed on site and everything is ready. President Trump has instructed them to complete preparations."
He added, "President Trump will make a decision soon. This will not be a surprise."
Ambassador Zarka continued, "We requested defensive support from the United States, not support for an attack on Iran," but also predicted, "If the United States joins the conflict, it will end more quickly."
The previous day, President Trump did not provide a clear answer regarding the possibility of attacking Iran, telling reporters, "We may or may not do it."
Ambassador Zarka explained that some operations targeting Iran were halted at the 'last moment' due to concerns over civilian casualties.
