Icheon to Hold "Social Economy Sharing Market" at Icheon Nonghyup on June 28
On June 19, the city of Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, announced that it will hold a special exhibition for the social economy, the "Social Economy Sharing Market," at the main branch of Icheon Nonghyup on June 28.
This is the first time the event will be held, and it is being organized in cooperation with the main branch of Icheon Nonghyup. Nonghyup will not only provide the sales space for the event but will also support on-site operations and promotional activities.
The event is being held to expand sales channels for local social economy enterprises and to raise public awareness. Seven social economy organizations and one small business will participate. Products to be showcased at the event include: eco-friendly detergents (Darae World), natural muslin bedding (Cozam Cooperative), assorted traditional rice cakes (Haerang), and Icheon rice cookies (Cafe&Me).
During the event, a prize draw will be held for customers who make purchases of 100,000 won or more at Nonghyup, or 20,000 won or more at the Sharing Market booths.
Following this event, the city plans to hold another social economy special exhibition in September in cooperation with Icheon Lotte Premium Outlet.
