Goryeong to Hold 'Culture Road Daegaya' on June 29... Diverse Hangeul-Themed Experiences and Performances

Goryeong County in North Gyeongsang Province will present a variety of performances and hands-on activities under the theme of the beauty of Hangeul to celebrate 'Culture Day'.
The 12th 'Culture Everywhere Delivery' Gyeongbuk On Village Train event for 2025 will take place on June 29, starting at 11:30 a.m. for two hours at the outdoor stage of Daegaya Market in Goryeong.
This event is co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and North Gyeongsang Province, and co-organized by the Regional Culture Promotion Agency, Gyeongbuk Culture Foundation, and the Art Village People. 'Culture Day' is held during the last week of every month to guarantee the public's right to enjoy culture in daily life, in accordance with Article 12, Paragraph 2 of the Framework Act on Culture.
The theme of the Goryeong event is 'Culture Road Daegaya'. The main performance, 'Magic Letters Hangeul! Meeting the Music & Magic Band', is a unique stage combining magic and music, designed to captivate audiences of all ages. The performance creatively explores the value and beauty of Hangeul, delivering educational and literary messages.
Various hands-on programs will also be available throughout the venue.
In addition to Hangeul-themed activities such as ▲'Writing in Our Language' ▲'Stamping with Hunminjeongeum' ▲'Decorating Hangeul Fans', there will be ▲balloon art ▲pinwheel making ▲traditional games ▲percussion instrument experiences, and other cultural content that can be enjoyed by people of all generations.
The 'Music & Magic Band' performance is a complex show that combines live music and magic, offering a special cultural and artistic experience rarely encountered in everyday life. The organizers explained, "This stage will newly highlight the formative beauty of Hangeul and the depth of pure Korean words."
