HiteJinro has concluded the first half schedule of the "HiteJinro Appreciation Snack Truck," an initiative planned to support firefighters who are dedicated to protecting the lives and safety of the public.
The "Appreciation Snack Truck," which visits fire stations across the country to deliver snacks and gifts in person, is HiteJinro's flagship program supporting firefighters. This program, now in its eighth year, has been ongoing since HiteJinro signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Fire Agency in 2018.

This year, during April and May, snacks and beverages were provided to approximately 1,150 firefighters at 10 fire stations, including Muan, Mokpo, Hampyeong in South Jeolla Province; Pohang, Gimcheon in North Gyeongsang Province; Sejong; Changwon in South Gyeongsang Province; Ulsan; and Gimpo, Uijeongbu in Gyeonggi Province. Additionally, prize event gifts such as brass cups, frog figurines in firefighter uniforms, Terra socks, and spoons received an enthusiastic response.
In particular, this year, the company first visited firefighters who had devoted themselves to responding to national disasters, such as the Muan Airport accident in South Jeolla Province and wildfire damage in North Gyeongsang Province, to express sincere support and gratitude, thereby reinforcing the significance of the event.
In April, HiteJinro CEO Kim Inkyu personally visited Mokpo and Pohang Fire Stations and stated, "I hope that the Appreciation Snack Truck, which we have continued each year with heartfelt sincerity, will continue to provide small but warm comfort to firefighters for their hard work. As a company that fulfills its social responsibilities, we will continue to strive to contribute to firefighters and the local community."
Meanwhile, HiteJinro has been running various encouragement programs for active firefighters since signing a memorandum of understanding with the National Fire Agency in 2018 to improve the welfare of firefighters' families and raise public safety awareness. These programs include operating the Appreciation Snack Truck at fire stations nationwide, hosting healing camps, supporting athletic events, providing emergency living expense support, covering legal expenses for recognition of line-of-duty deaths, and organizing healing camps for bereaved families of firefighters.
