View original imageChoegang Leshi was a limited-edition line of goods released last year by Everland and the KBO to provide young baseball fans, especially women in their 20s who are driving the popularity of professional baseball, with an additional source of enjoyment. The collection sold out immediately upon release and received an enthusiastic response.
Season 2 of Choegang Leshi will be available starting June 23 through a special event on 'KakaoTalk Gift.' The goods will also be displayed at the KBO Choegang Leshi Store inside Everland at a later date.
The merchandise features the characters wearing each team's uniform and cap. This year, a total of nine teams are participating: KIA Tigers, Samsung Lions, LG Twins, Doosan Bears, KT Wiz, SSG Landers, Hanwha Eagles, NC Dinos, and Kiwoom Heroes. In Season 2, 'Victory Fairy' Leshi is joined by his friend, the chick character Bibi, who appears as an energetic 'cheerleader,' making the collection even more upgraded.
While 29 types of goods were released last year, including keyrings, plush dolls, and metal badges, this year the lineup has expanded to about 110 items, offering even more variety. In addition to previous items, new products include gym sacks, air fresheners, and car accessories. The newly introduced cheerleader Bibi appears on items such as mini pouches featuring each team's signature chant and baseball keyrings.
