Nationwide Monsoon Rain Expected on Friday
With the monsoon season expected to begin in the central and southern regions around the 20th, Wednesday, June 18, will be clear and hot across the country.
On June 18, morning lows are expected to range from 17 to 22 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will reach between 26 and 33 degrees Celsius.
In most inland areas, daytime temperatures will rise to around 30 degrees Celsius. In many regions, the apparent temperature, which reflects humidity, will exceed 31 degrees Celsius.
The expected minimum and maximum temperatures are as follows: Seoul, Daejeon, and Ulsan at 20 and 31 degrees Celsius; Incheon at 19 and 27 degrees Celsius; Gwangju at 20 and 32 degrees Celsius; Daegu at 21 and 33 degrees Celsius; and Busan at 21 and 28 degrees Celsius.
