Osan City to Hold 'Gyeonggi Economic Boost Big Sale' for Consumer Promotion from June 21 to 29

Offered at Four Commercial Districts Including Osaek Market
Osan City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the '2025 First Half Gyeonggi Economic Boost Big Sale' at local traditional markets and neighborhood commercial districts from June 21 to June 29.
This event is being organized as part of a public contest project jointly hosted by Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Market Commercial District Promotion Agency to revitalize local commercial areas. In this contest, four commercial districts were selected: Osaek Market, Wondong Shopping Street, Unamteul Shopping District, and Osandae Station Shopping District. The city secured a total of 44 million won in provincial funding for these districts.
During the event period, each commercial district will offer a variety of consumer benefits. If customers make purchases above a certain amount, they can receive up to 20% of their purchase amount back in Onnuri gift certificates by verifying their receipts. For purchases of 50,000 won or more, benefits ranging from 10,000 won to a maximum of 30,000 won will be provided depending on the amount spent.
At Osaek Market, from June 21 to June 25, customers who spend 50,000 won or more will receive Onnuri gift certificates. On June 21, an opening ceremony featuring invited performances and other events will also be held at Osaek Market.
At Wondong Shopping Street, during the same period, customers who spend 50,000 won or more will receive gift certificates, and those who spend 100,000 won or more will have a chance to win prizes in a lottery. At Unamteul Shopping District, customers who spend 30,000 won or more will receive daily necessities such as ramen, cooking wine, and Sema rice. At Osandae Station Shopping District, customers who spend 30,000 won or more will receive seaweed and Sema rice, and a local currency lottery event will also be held.
