On June 17, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a Level 3 Travel Advisory (Reconsider Travel) for all regions of Iran.

View original imageThe Overseas Koreans Consular Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs implemented this measure for the entire territory of Iran as of 1:00 p.m. on the same day. The previously issued Level 3 Travel Advisory for certain areas in Iran will also remain in effect.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "We urge our nationals currently staying in Iran to pay special attention to their personal safety and to leave the country as quickly as possible in accordance with the guidance of our diplomatic missions. We also request that our nationals who are planning to travel to the region cancel or postpone their trips."
Additionally, the ministry added, "We will continue to closely monitor the situation in the Middle East and will keep taking various measures to ensure the safety of our nationals."
