Tongmyong University Strengthens Practical Skills with 'Team-up' Model Making Support Program
The College of Architecture and Design at Tongmyong University is strengthening students' creative design capabilities and technical skills through practice-oriented educational programs.
Tongmyong University announced on the 17th that it had recently completed the 'Team-up Model Making Support Program' successfully. This program was carried out as part of the third phase of the University Innovation Support Project and focused on helping students produce precise models using various materials in the architectural model workshop.
Training sessions utilized practical equipment such as CNC routers and 3D printers, with a total of 21 participants including one professor and 20 students. After attending specialized lectures on model-making techniques and the safe use of equipment, the participating students learned production methods through hands-on practice.

Professor Moon Jeongpil of the Department of Architecture stated, "The experience of processing various materials by hand and realizing ideas as actual models is a valuable asset that goes beyond simple theoretical learning," and added, "We will continue to operate safe and effective practice-based programs to enhance students' practical skills and confidence."
