Kim Oksu, a member of the Seo-gu Council in Gwangju, announced on the 16th that she received a plaque of appreciation at the 10th International Peace Model Gwangju·Jeonnam Selection Contest, which was held at the Hwasun Hanioum Culture and Sports Center on the 14th.

An official from the contest explained that Council member Kim was recognized for her significant contributions to actively promoting and improving the welfare of cultural and artistic figures in the Gwangju·Jeonnam region.
Council member Kim stated, "It is very meaningful that a model contest in which seniors can participate is being held in this era of healthy longevity, and the UN Peace Model Gwangju·Jeonnam Selection Contest is the top Hanbok model contest in Korea. Having received a plaque of appreciation for my support of cultural and artistic figures in the Gwangju·Jeonnam region, I will pay even closer attention to their needs going forward."
