Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwangdeok) announced on the 15th that it held the opening ceremony for the "Youth Tennis Class" at the Namyangju Sports and Culture Center Tennis Court on the 14th.

View original imageThe opening ceremony was attended by 50 young students, Professor Lim Jiheon who participated as a human book, officials from the city tennis association, and the coaching staff. The event proceeded in the following order: a tennis demonstration match, an orientation, and the first class.
The program will be held a total of 10 times, every Saturday at 7 p.m., and will take place at five tennis courts within the Namyangju Sports and Culture Center. The classes are tailored to the skill level of the participants, and the city has assigned coaches to each group and established a step-by-step instructional plan.
In particular, with the Namyangju Tennis Association providing equipment such as rackets and tennis balls, and human book experts including Professor Lim Jiheon volunteering their talents, young people are able to receive high-quality instruction without financial burden.
