Baekseok University Partners with Chiang Rai City in Thailand for Cooperation in Education, Technology, and Culture
Plans to Gradually Expand Network in Southeast Asia
Baekseok University announced on June 13 that it has signed an agreement with Chiang Rai City in Thailand for cooperation in education, technology, and culture.
The signing ceremony was held at 3:00 p.m. local time the previous day at Chiang Rai City Hall in Thailand, with Mayor Wanchai Chongsuthamanee and Baekseok University President Jang Jonghyun in attendance.
Baekseok University plans to gradually expand its educational cooperation network with the Southeast Asian region as a result of this agreement.
President Jang Jonghyun stated, "Chiang Rai is a city where education and culture are harmoniously integrated, which aligns with Baekseok University's approach to nurturing talent," adding, "Through this agreement, we will strive to achieve tangible results in areas such as exchanges among members and joint research."
Mayor Wanchai Chongsuthamanee said, "This cooperation will serve as a foundation for expanding international educational opportunities for the youth of Chiang Rai," and expressed hope that the two institutions will continue sustainable collaboration.
