CI Tech Forms Strategic Partnership with Clobot for Joint Development of AI Autonomous Robots
On June 13, CI Tech announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Clobot to jointly develop and commercialize a converged AI robot solution that combines autonomous robots with an on-premises artificial intelligence (AI) computing platform.
This agreement was established to combine the core competencies of both companies to jointly develop an integrated AI autonomous robot solution applicable to a variety of fields, including hospitals, public institutions, libraries, and smart buildings. The partnership also aims to expand these solutions across the broader smart city sector in the future.
Clobot possesses years of experience in developing autonomous robot solutions and currently operates commercial autonomous robot platforms in various industrial settings. The company has demonstrated strong competitiveness, particularly in integration technologies with elevators, gates, and other facilities, as well as in indoor autonomous navigation algorithms.
CI Tech supplies kiosks, hi-fi audio systems, and smart hospital platforms, leveraging its infrastructure in libraries, medical institutions, and public organizations. The company has built strong field-oriented technological capabilities. Recently, in line with current trends, CI Tech has secured on-premises AI edge system equipment solutions to further differentiate and strengthen its existing business. The company is also accelerating its business expansion by entering the AI healthcare platform market.
Through this agreement, the two companies will jointly develop an 'AI information and consultation system' that links stationary kiosks with mobile robots. They plan to offer packaged, specialized solutions for each sector?such as unmanned book collection and return robots and hospital reception robots?to a diverse range of clients, including smart buildings, hospitals, libraries, and resorts. Additionally, they will establish a robot operation infrastructure capable of stable operation in environments where real-time AI analysis based on edge computing and personal data protection are critical. The companies intend to accelerate the digital transformation of public and industrial sites.
