Gyeonggi BSA to Support Bio Companies' Expansion into Europe... 10 Firms to Be Selected by June 20
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency (Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator, hereafter Gyeonggi BSA) is set to support local bio companies in their efforts to enter the European market.
On June 13, Gyeonggi BSA announced that, together with Institut Pasteur Korea, it will launch a consulting support program to help local bio companies expand into Europe. The agency is currently recruiting 10 companies to participate in the "Bio Company Europe Expansion Network Enhancement Support Program" until June 20.
The Europe Expansion Network Enhancement Support Program was designed as part of Gyeonggi Province’s policy to foster the bio industry. The program aims to help local bio companies establish a foothold in the European market by providing tailored support specific to Europe.
Gyeonggi BSA will provide participating companies with the following support: customized integrated consulting tailored to each company’s needs; assistance to enhance global communication; organization of technology exchange meetings; and support for the 2025 BIO-Europe registration fee (500,000 KRW per company).
This initiative is expected to create synergy by linking with the bio industry support infrastructure currently being promoted by the Gyeonggi BSA Bio Industry Division, including demand-driven R&D, professional workforce training, and startup incubation.
Gyeonggi BSA plans to support companies in securing global technological competitiveness by providing company-specific consulting and expanding local cooperation networks, based on analysis of European market regulations, technology demand, and trends.
Gyeonggi Province expects that this program will help expand networks with global companies and strengthen the foundation for collaboration to secure future growth engines.
