Uiryeong County Offers 1% Annual Interest Loans for Second Half Agricultural Income Support Project
Applications Accepted Until June 17
Uiryeong County, South Gyeongsang Province, is accepting applications for the "2025 Second Half Agricultural Income Support Project" until the 17th. This program provides loans at a low annual interest rate of 1% to farmers and agricultural corporations, aiming to stabilize farm management and enhance agricultural competitiveness.
For the second half of the year, the Agricultural Income Support Project will provide up to 1.5 billion KRW in operating funds needed for purposes such as purchasing pesticides and fertilizers.
Eligible applicants are farmers and agriculture-related corporations who have their resident registration or corporate address in Uiryeong County and are engaged in agricultural business within the county as of the application date. Individuals can apply for up to 70 million KRW, while corporations can apply for up to 200 million KRW.
Applicants must submit their applications through their local town or township office. After review by the Uiryeong County Agricultural Income Support Project Management Committee, selected farmers and agricultural corporations will be able to receive loans through NH Nonghyup Bank.
Meanwhile, in the first half of the year, the county provided a total of 14.2 billion KRW in loans through the Agricultural Income Support Project, including 11.2 billion KRW in purchase funds to five producer organizations and 3 billion KRW in operating and facility funds to 63 farmers and agricultural corporations.
