The closing days for each water play area differ by day of the week: Misa Lake Park, Hanam Union Park, and Gam-il Neighborhood Park No. 3 are closed on Mondays; Misa Hangang Park No. 4 is closed on Tuesdays; Sinpyeong Children's Park is closed on Wednesdays; Wirye Sunra Park is closed on Thursdays; and Pungsan Neighborhood Park No. 3 is closed on Fridays.
In addition, if safety issues arise, such as rain, or if there are factors causing water pollution (such as vomiting or defecation), operations will be suspended on the affected day.
Hanam City has equipped the water play areas with various amenities, including play facilities, ground fountains, restrooms, and changing rooms, to ensure that children can use the facilities safely and comfortably. To manage water quality, the city will check residual chlorine levels daily and conduct regular inspections by professional agencies at least once every 10 days. Safety personnel will be stationed on-site at all times.
For Misa Lake Park Water Play Area, an online reservation system will be implemented. Reservations can be made through the Hanam City Hall website from six days to two days before the intended visit (between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.). The other six locations can be used without a reservation by visiting on the day.
Starting this year, the newly opened Gam-il Neighborhood Park No. 3 Water Play Area will provide citizens with a new space for relaxation. In addition, a cooling fog (evaporative cooling device) has been installed at the Misa Lake Park Water Play Area, creating a cooler water play environment.
