Gyeonggi Province to Conduct '2025 Mining and Manufacturing Survey' Targeting Over 23,000 Businesses
Gyeonggi Province will conduct the '2025 Mining and Manufacturing Survey' from June 17 to July 21.
This survey is a government-designated statistical survey conducted annually in accordance with the Statistics Act. Its primary focus is to collect foundational data for the formulation of various economic policies by identifying the structure, distribution, and industrial activity status of the mining and manufacturing sectors.
The survey targets approximately 23,300 mining and manufacturing businesses in the province with 10 or more employees that operated (produced) for at least one month last year.
As of the end of last year, Gyeonggi Province will investigate 13 items, including annual shipment value, import value, number of employees, and annual payroll of businesses.
The results of the survey will be provisionally announced by Statistics Korea at the end of December, and once finalized in February next year, will be published on the Gyeonggi Statistics website and the National Statistics Portal.
