Coupang Eats Service Provides Free Safety Inspections to 3,000 Delivery Partners
Operated in 13 Regions Nationwide in the First Half of the Year
On June 11, Coupang Eats Service announced that it will operate the "2025 First Half Free Safety Inspection Program" in 13 regions nationwide to help ensure the safe driving of its delivery partners. Coupang Eats Service has expanded the scale of support and, since 2023, has provided free inspection benefits to a total of approximately 3,000 delivery partners. The goal for the remainder of this year is to provide additional support to about 2,000 more delivery partners.
The safety inspections for the first half of this year have been conducted 14 times in total, from April until the end of this month, across 13 regions nationwide, including Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon metropolitan area, Wonju in Gangwon, Cheongju in North Chungcheong, Daegu, and Ulsan. The program is available to delivery partners with a record of deliveries for Coupang Eats, and applications can be made via text message notification.
The free safety inspections are carried out directly by maintenance experts from the Korea Motorcycle Maintenance Association, ensuring systematic and precise checks. Inspection items include: ▲braking system ▲tires ▲noise and exhaust gas ▲lighting equipment ▲steering system. Consumables eligible for free replacement, based on expert diagnosis, include: ▲engine oil ▲brake pads ▲air cleaner filter ▲transmission oil. If replacement is deemed necessary, these items are provided free of charge. The support is expected to help prevent accidents by diagnosing major causes of motorcycle malfunctions in advance.
