At the 2nd Hampyeong Academy, Kim Sangkyun, a professor at Kyung Hee University and an expert in the fields of AI and the metaverse in Korea, delivered a lecture on the topic of "How to Navigate the Age of AI."
Professor Kim earned his Ph.D. in cognitive science from Yonsei University and is currently teaching "Metaverse Management" at the Graduate School of Business Administration at Kyung Hee University. He is also widely involved in both public and private AI projects, including at the National Human Resources Development Institute and Samsung Software Academy For Youth (SSAFY).
In his lecture, Professor Kim explained complex concepts such as AI and the metaverse through case studies, making them easy for the general public to understand. He delivered insightful messages focused on the core competencies and strategies individuals need in today's rapidly changing society, receiving an enthusiastic response from attendees.
County Governor Lee Sangik stated, "We organized this academy so that residents can wisely embrace the era of digital transformation," and added, "We will continue to invite experts from various fields to provide beneficial and practical lectures."
