Bang Seongbin, CEO: "We Will Support Children's Dreams Through Warm-Hearted Finance"
On June 9, BNK Busan Bank is holding the 4th Children's Art Contest Award Winners Exhibition in the lobby on the first floor of its headquarters.
This art contest was held on May 17 as part of the "I LOVE (Ai Sarang) Festival," a family event in celebration of Family Month.
On the day of the event, a variety of family experience programs took place, including the Play on Busan cultural performance "Gag Concert," the 22nd Book Exchange Fair, and the Children's Market Town, all of which received a great response from participants.
The 4th Children's Art Contest was organized around three themes: AI, environment, and Gadeokdo New Airport. The contest was divided into two categories: lower grades (1st to 3rd grade) and upper grades (4th to 6th grade), aiming to encourage children to creatively express their thoughts about the future and environment of the region.
In this year's contest, Jin Hayoung, a 3rd grader at Jangan Elementary School (lower grades category), and Lee Jiwoo, a 6th grader at Choeup Elementary School (upper grades category), received the Dongbaek Art Award (Busan Mayor's Award). Park Ijun, a 2nd grader at Oryukdo Elementary School (lower grades category), and Kim Ayoung, a 6th grader at Annam Elementary School (upper grades category), were selected for the Grand Prize (Busan Metropolitan City Superintendent of Education Award).
In addition, a total of 188 students were honored, including two Gold Prize winners, three Silver Prize winners, three Bronze Prize winners, and 84 Encouragement Prize winners in each category.
Busan Bank is exhibiting about 20 award-winning works, including those that received Bronze Prize or higher, in the first-floor lobby of its headquarters until June 24. The exhibition is open to the public on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Bang Seongbin, CEO of Busan Bank, said, "Through this contest, we were able to feel the pure imagination and hope for the future embodied in our children's drawings," adding, "We will continue to support children's dreams and promote warm-hearted finance in connection with the local community."
