Gwangju Bukgu Council to Hold Regular Session Starting June 10
Review of 24 Agenda Items Including Administrative Audit and Settlement
Gwangju Bukgu Council announced on June 9 that it will convene its 303rd regular session for 21 days, from June 10 to June 30.
During this regular session, the council plans to address a total of 24 agenda items, including the 2025 administrative audit, the 2024 fiscal year settlement review, 16 ordinance bills, 1 rule bill, 3 consent bills, 1 plan bill, and 1 resolution bill.
The council will begin with the first plenary session on June 10 and, through June 16, will review the approval bills for the 2024 fiscal year’s revenue and expenditure settlement, as well as the approval bill for reserve fund expenditures. From June 17 to June 25, the council will conduct the 2025 administrative audit for agencies entrusted or delegated with administrative tasks, such as Bukgu District Office, Bukgu Facilities Management Corporation, Bukgu Village Autonomy Urban Regeneration Center, and Bukgu Comprehensive Volunteer Center.
On June 26, each standing committee will review general agenda items such as ordinance bills and conduct on-site inspections of major projects. On June 30, during the second plenary session, the council will make final decisions on agenda items reviewed by the standing committees.
Chairman Choi Moosong stated, "We will thoroughly examine the overall district administration and propose reasonable policy alternatives to improve the quality of life for residents."
