Kibo Recruits M&A Partners to Expand Professional Intermediary Services
Applications Accepted from June 16 to 27
On June 9, Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Kibo) announced that it is recruiting "M&A Partners" to expand the pool of private intermediary institutions participating in the public-private partnership M&A platform.
M&A Partners are institutions that establish a joint brokerage cooperation system with Kibo and provide specialized intermediary services to small and venture businesses through the public-private partnership M&A platform. Last October, Kibo recruited private M&A intermediary institutions and selected 10 organizations as M&A Partners.
Through this recruitment, Kibo aims to expand the participation of private M&A intermediary institutions, strengthen the joint brokerage network, and enhance the capabilities of professional intermediary services based on public-private cooperation, thereby supporting the activation of the M&A market for small and venture businesses.
Eligible applicants include private intermediary institutions such as law firms, accounting firms, investment institutions, and consulting companies with experience and expertise in M&A brokerage and advisory services. Kibo will comprehensively evaluate factors such as M&A performance and capabilities, as well as the appropriateness of brokerage operations, to select the final M&A Partners.
Meanwhile, through the public-private partnership M&A platform, Kibo provides one-stop support for the entire M&A process for small and venture businesses, from identifying M&A demand to advisory, brokerage, and financing. In March, Kibo established an M&A transaction information network and has been accepting applications from companies wishing to buy or sell. As a core partner within the platform, M&A Partners are entrusted by Kibo to carry out M&A brokerage operations and are expected to inject vitality into the M&A market for small and venture businesses by creating synergy between the public and private sectors.
Lee Sangchang, Director of Kibo, stated, "Through this M&A Partners recruitment, we will be able to respond to the diverse M&A needs of small and venture businesses in a more professional and systematic manner," adding, "Kibo will continue to expand collaborative projects with private institutions possessing professional capabilities and further vitalize the public-private partnership M&A platform."
