View original imageAccording to the Ulsan Fire Department, the fire, which started at around 3:53 p.m. on the 8th, burned a fuel storage facility and approximately 700 tons of waste fuel before being brought under control at 7:11 p.m., after 3 hours and 18 minutes.
A total of 32 vehicles and about 70 firefighters were mobilized to extinguish the blaze.
Some employees were present at the company at the time of the fire, but they evacuated quickly and there were no casualties.

Based on witness statements, the fire department believes the fire started in the fuel storage facility inside the plant and plans to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
