View original imageOn June 5, to mark the 70th Memorial Day, Suncheon Police Station (Chief Kim Daewon) held a memorial ceremony at the Memorial Garden in Suncheonman National Garden to honor the fallen patriots and heroes who defended the nation.
Chief Kim Daewon stated, "The freedom and peace of the Republic of Korea were made possible by the dedication of the fallen patriots and national heroes," and expressed his commitment to "carry on their noble spirit and do his utmost to protect the lives and property of Suncheon citizens."
He also promised citizens that, taking this memorial ceremony as an opportunity, the police will reaffirm their reason for existence and further strengthen field-oriented, prevention-focused policing activities to proactively prevent crime, thereby realizing a 'safe Suncheon and happy citizens.'
