Seven Yeongju Agro-Food Companies Participate
Promoting Outstanding Local Products in the National Market
Yeongju City in North Gyeongsang Province is participating in the '2025 Gyeongbuk Agricultural and Food Expo', which is being held at Daegu EXCO from June 5 to June 7, in an effort to promote outstanding local agricultural and food products and expand sales channels.
This large-scale expo is hosted by North Gyeongsang Province and organized by the Gyeongbuk Agricultural and Food Distribution Education Promotion Institute and Gyeongbuk Trading. A total of 224 companies from across the province are taking part, exhibiting and selling a variety of agricultural and food products and holding consultations with buyers.

View original imageAt this event, Yeongju City is participating in various ways, including operating a local promotion booth, a premium products section, and a traditional liquor exhibition. Seven promising local agricultural and food companies are joining to showcase their competitive products.
The main participating companies include Wanseon Agricultural Corporation ('Doongidang'), which introduced dessert-type processed foods; Yeongju Takju Brewery, which featured ginseng Makgeolli; and Nature Ideun Agricultural Corporation, which presented processed bellflower root products. In addition, Yeongju Sobaeksan Honey, Horang Confectionery, and Sannaedeul Wine are participating as representative brands of North Gyeongsang Province, drawing attention at the exhibition.
Han Sangsook, head of the Yeongju City Agricultural Technology Center, said, "I hope this expo will serve as an opportunity for Yeongju's agricultural and food companies to be recognized in the national market," adding, "We will continue to support efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of the local agricultural and food industry."
