Lee Byunghun and Lee Honey to Dub Korean Version of Hit US Animation "King of Kings"
Jin Sunkyu, Yang Donggeun, Cha Inpyo, and Kwon Ohjung Also Join the Cast
The production company Mofac Studio announced on June 5 that actors Lee Byung-hun, Lee Honey, and Jin Sun-kyu, among others, will provide the Korean-language dubbing for the animated film "King of Kings."
"King of Kings" is a work that depicts the journey of British author Charles Dickens and his youngest son Walter as they embark on an adventure into a great story from 2,000 years ago, showing the life of Jesus from birth to resurrection. Jang Sung-ho, the CEO of the domestic visual effects (VFX) company Mofac Studio, wrote the screenplay and directed the film.
The film was released in the United States in April and has surpassed $60 million (approximately 81.5 billion won) in box office revenue. It has overtaken director Bong Joon-ho's "Parasite" to become the highest-grossing Korean film in Hollywood.

In the dubbed version set to be released domestically next month, Lee Byung-hun voices Charles Dickens, while Lee Honey voices Catherine Dickens, the wife of Charles Dickens. Jin Sun-kyu plays Jesus, and Yang Dong-geun voices Peter. In addition, Cha In-pyo, Kwon Oh-jung, Jang Gwang, and Choi Hari also participated in the dubbing performances.
